A significant event for app and game developers took place in August 2020. Epic Games selected the best projects among developers on the Unreal Engine for the next MegaGrant. We are happy to inform you that VR Expo World received a “MegaGrant” and was among the top projects from around the world.
EpicGames annually, on a competitive basis, allocates MegaGrants to app developers “covering various efforts aimed at furthering creative and technological progress in the 3D graphics community.” In doing so, the company supports creative ideas and fosters the boldest projects in industries ranging from games, multimedia and entertainment to developments in education.
The MegaGrant allocation from Epic Games served as a powerful motivation for us to develop the VR Expo World project. This is a milestone event not only for our team, but also for all VR Expo World users and virtual exhibition exhibitors. After all, we’re getting better every time!
Andrey Vasiliev, CEO VR Expo World:
“Our team has come a long way to make the project truly useful to a wide audience of users, as well as gain support among exhibiting companies, industry representatives VR and developers (in particular the developers of the engine Unreal Engine). We would like to thank the Epic Games team for appreciating our project and helping to develop the virtual exhibition.
The allocated MegaGrant will be used for further development of the project, improvement of the virtual exhibition as well as attraction of new exhibitors and popularization of VR technologies among industrial companies.
Soon, the users of VR Expo World will be able to get a major upgrade of the application with new exhibitors and booths of industrial companies, new functionality and more realistic graphics. Follow the VR Expo World virtual exhibition news on our website, as well as on social media.
